Positive Pro facilitates positive change in the lives of children by offering essential emotional, behavioral and academic support to those in need. We offer specialized programs designed for children between the ages of 5 to 18. We have been dedicated to utilizing the power of peer mentoring combined with effective and clear communication to build long lasting, positive relationships. We aim to enhance children’s self-esteem and confidence by engaging in fun hands-on experiences, instill values of kindness, encourage physical activity, promote healthier lifestyles, and encourage teamwork. Our mission is to promote student success through the power of positivity!
from our founder:
My name is Anthony Smith and I am passionate about spreading POSITIVITY throughout the community! I am a High School basketball coach, a Special Needs Paraprofessional and a Mentor to youth with various backgrounds. I started Positive Pro in 2020 as a means to facilitate positive change in student’s lives by providing emotional, behavioral and academic support to families and schools in need. Positive Pro started with individual home visits to families in need and then soon transpired to school visits. Today, Positive Pro has partnered with 3 schools in the greater Tucson Area and is able to provide free basketball camps as a positive alternative for youths in Tucson, AZ. At Positive Pro, we are committed to utilize the power of peer mentoring combined with effective and clear communication to build long lasting positive relationships.

Hi Anthony, how does your business help the community?
We contribute to the community by offering complimentary programs, including camps and basketball leagues, to young people from diverse backgrounds. Many of these children come from economically disadvantaged families. Our free services play a crucial role in enhancing their lives by granting them access to activities and programs that would otherwise be financially out of reach. We heavily depend on funding and donations to continue offering these affordable to no-cost services. -

It’s a profoundly meaningful mission to me, as I reflect on how having access to such a mission during my childhood could have significantly enhanced my personal success.
